What is AlzU?

About The Lessons

After joining, begin one of our interactive courses on Everything One Needs to Know about Alzheimer's information for 2019 and beyond. Lessons are completed online, anytime and each lasts on average from 5-15 minutes.

For the course for the general public, ten lessons are available with more coming soon. Topics include the Stages of Alzheimer's disease (AD), Diagnosis of AD, and the latest scientifically-studied ways to reduce AD risk or delay onset, as well as to treat AD, covering medications, vitamins / supplements, nutrition, and physical and mental exercise. Many activities also help to keep the brain engaged and keep people updated on the latest options for brain health, clinical trials, and more. There are currently 3 lessons each for the high school and college courses, as well as 5 lessons each for the healthcare provider, medical student and Neurology resident courses.

AlzU.org also has a Caregivers course accessible when you join the Prevention course for the public. In 2020, we will launch additional content geared for new audiences.

Lessons can be viewed on any computer, as well as on cell phones (e.g., iPhone, Android) and tablet devices, although many users find the content to work better and be more effective on a desktop or laptop.
