My mother was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. How important is it to see a doctor who specializes in treating Alzheimer's disease? I don't think we have any Alzheimer's prevention clinics in my local area. What would you suggest in order for my mom to get the best medical treatment possible for Alzheimer's?

I had the same concern when my mom was initially diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Fortunately, I live in New York, so I was able to access local services offered here, at an Alzheimer's prevention clinic. Have you tried searching on Google to check to see if there are any specialists in your local area?
