Is there really some new way to prevent Alzheimer's Disease? I thought I read there was no cure for the disease.

Hi John,
The term "Alzheimer's Prevention" really refers to interventions (including diet and lifestyle changes) that have been clinically shown to slow down the progression of Alzheimer's disease (AD). You are correct that there is currently no cure once a person is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Recent research is aimed at helping symptoms and slowing the advancement of AD, particularly for those in the early stages of the disease. You can learn all about Alzheimer's treatment and prevention by joining and signing up for the 25 free lessons, specifically designed for caregivers, family members and those in the early stages of AD.
